Ian Pan is an artist based in Taipei working primarily with installation, image, and mixed media. She received an MFA in New Media Art from Taipei National University of the Arts and is also part of the collaborative practice mush·room with Liang Huai-Chih, exploring connections between nature, culture, and mycelial networks.

Her work focuses on subtle and often overlooked experiences within everyday life and urban environments, particularly the relationships between memory,  behavior, and contemporary city life. Through the transformation of found objects combined with sound, mechanics, and image, her installations create sensory and emotional encounters that often approach social phenomena through humor and poetic displacement. Recent projects engage with urban hydrological histories and spatial change.

Pan is currently a resident artist at Banqiao 435 Art Zone. Her works have received awards including the Kaohsiung Award (Excellent Work Award 2020, 2024) and the ifva Awards in Hong Kong (Gold Award 2020). She has participated in residency programs including Treasure Hill Artist Village (2021) and New Taipei City Art Museum (2023).
